Bruce Peninsula Touring Route 390km - 2 day ride
This is one of Ontario’s most scenic stretches through bush featuring bluff lookouts of Georgian Bay. A great base camp, begin at the Days Inn in Owen Sound taking the B Trail to Wiarton, which connects you to the B108. Follow B108 north through the hamlets of Oliphant and Red Bay. Continue north all the way to Tobermory where there are a few options for accommodation in the "Tub". The Harbourside Motel and the Princess Hotel (which also offers a restaurant) are located along the picturesque Tobermory harbourfront.
After a night in the Tub, start your second day by following B108 south until you link with B107. B107 will take you through the hamlet of Purple Valley and the town of Wiarton (The home of the famous Groundhog, Willie). From Wiarton, you will return to Owen Sound on the B Trail. Please note that fuel is limited north of Ferndale/Lions Head, and we recommend you pre-book your accommodation in Tobermory.
With an overnight stay in Tobermory, the 390km Bruce Peninsula Touring Route showcases some of Ontario's most scenic trails.
